HMX launches electronics development project

Project 1.2.1.1/18/A/006 “Development of electronics for multifocal augmented and virtual reality displays”

Hansamatrix Innovation SIA in cooperation with Hansamatrix Ventspils SIA has signed a contract with SIA LEO Pētījumu centrs (Competence Centre of Electrical and Optical Equipment Production Sector of Latvia) for a research project “Development of electronics for multifocal augmented and virtual reality displays .

The main objective is to develop a small-size light-weight electronics driver for multifocal augmented and virtual reality displays and headsets.

The actions of the proposed project  include development of control algorithms, schematics capture, layout development in flexi-board technology, manufacturing of prototypes, validation of functionality of the developed board in actual multifocal augmented reality headset.

 The foreseen duration of the project is 19 months, starting on May 1st, 2020. The total planned cost of the project is 407272.73 EUR, consisting of 279999.90 EUR (68,75 %) public funding and 127272.83 EUR private funding.
